Rosa Céspedes’ Business Story

Artist and entrepreneur Rosa Céspedes has walked a unique path where art, culture, and practicality meet. Originally from the Caribbean, Rosa lived for years in Spain before moving to Finland, where she founded Art Pista – an art platform and online store that brings visual power and emotion into Finnish homes.

Rosa has been creating and developing art for nine years. Her distinctive mixed techniques have emerged through years of experimentation, inspiration, and bold creativity. In Spain, she developed the Sea Sand Mixed painting technique, in which sand, glue, and paint are combined on canvas to create a unique texture and depth in the background. Rosa not only paints – she also teaches. Through Art Pista, she organizes free video painting courses, where she presents her own technique and offers learning experiences together with guest artist Terry Laakso.
